- 4K during peak live sport — Ultra HD feeds can drop to 1080p in the first ten minutes of a high-demand match while the player rebalances. Quality usually recovers without intervention.
- Downloads on Android 8 and 9 — the queue may pause when the app is backgrounded by aggressive battery management. Keep the app open until it finishes.
- Catalogue rotation — titles leave when a licensing window closes, which can expire a saved download without warning. This is rights, not an outage.

Account-level problems — billing, a missing subscription, playback on your specific television — need the in-app Help section or the official JioHotstar help centre, because they require access to your account.
